The Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA) along with aviation partner Caicos Express is pleased to announce the addition of the Dominican Republic to their growing airline schedule as of Friday, April 7th, 2017.
As part of Caicos Express’s commitment to expanding routes, the airline will be adding flights to Santiago and Santo Domingo of the Dominican Republic. The flights to Santo Domingo will be available on Mondays and Fridays with the inaugural flight departing Friday, April 7th ,2017.

Flights to Santaigo will depart Providenciales Airport on Thursdays and Saturdays commencing Saturday, April 8th 2017.

These biweekly flights will be an easy flight on 50 minutes to Santiago and 1hour and 10 minutes to Santo Domingo on a Beechcraft 1900 airplane.

Operations Manager, Stephane Menelas stated, “We are a very proud of what we have built and accomplished over the years. I think that we have passion for aviation and also the ability to listen to the consumer to give them what they demand. This has lead us to follow the market and commit to offering excellent service to the people that support us and we thank them so much for their loyalty.”

Caicos Express has been growing rapidly, as they initially offered only domestic service within the Turks and Caicos Islands. This Airline currently offers flights to Haiti and now after carefully studying the market, they have expanded into the Dominican Republic. This will offer more connectivity and competition to the route for the benefit of passengers. A number of flights are also available by charter request to several Caribbean destinations, such as Cuba.
