Donna Karan’s Turk and Caicos beachfront resort up for sale

Turks and Caicos Islands, the playground for ultra high net-worth individuals, has its fair share private villas which change ownership from time to time. This time, acclaimed fashion designer Donna Karan, has put up her seven acres beachfront resort compound for sale.

The Sanctuary, which is located on the private island, Parrot Cay, is on the market for US$39 million.

The secluded property is flanked by lush vegetation, with its own ocean front of white power-soft sands and turquoise waters, and offers unparalleled panoramic views of the island’s pristine surroundings.

Two, four-bedroom villa estates are centerpieces of the compound, each featuring a second-floor master bedroom with stunning ocean views, three en-suite bedrooms and an infinity pool.

Designed by Cheong Yew Kuan, a world-renowned Singapore architect, and completed with New York’s Bonetti/Kozerski Studio, each of the property’s meticulously crafted interiors is complemented by exotic features, such as cedar and coral stone walls, European walnut floors, lightly filled raw travertine baths, teak furniture and eclectic works of art from Bali to Africa. A screened-in guest pavilion sits adjacent to outside Ipe wood terraces. This centerpiece of the property serves as a wonderful gathering place for family and friends, an indoor formal dining area offers seating for up to 20 and walks out to the third swimming pool. A state-of-the-art kitchen pavilion, yoga pavilion, staff quarters and storage pavilions complete the exterior.

The property has a unique character with unmistakable global appeal and residents can enjoy two private butlers, a personal chef and daily maid services as well as access to resort amenities, such as a 24-hour manager, sporting facilities, water sports, restaurants and boutiques.

Parrot Cay is a multi-award winning COMO Shambhala Resort, known for five-star wellness retreats and services, including many natural and holistic healing therapies, and a host of spa services. It is also a popular location for destination weddings for the rich and famous.
